Since 2015, the Saudi Society for Gynecologic Oncology has united the specialists caring for women with cancers of the reproductive system across the Kingdom — from Riyadh and Jeddah to every regional center advancing women’s health.

From a small circle of colleagues in Riyadh to a nationwide community connected with the world’s leading gynecologic oncology organizations.

    The Society is founded

    A small circle of Saudi gynecologic oncologists convenes in Riyadh with a shared national ambition.

  2. 2017

    First national guideline

    Publication of the Kingdom's first clinical guideline for cervical cancer screening and management.

  3. 2019

    National Cancer Registry

    Launch of the National Gynecologic Cancer Registry in partnership with the Ministry of Health.

  4. 2022

    Global affiliations confirmed

    Full institutional membership recognized by ESGO and IGCS, opening a new era of exchange.

  5. 2025

    A national community

    The Society now unites 340+ members across 26 institutions and every region of the Kingdom.
